Evensong

The Royal School of Church Music was having a Celebration Day Evensong in Canterbury Cathedral. There were more than 200 singers taking place from 29 different church choirs.I was joining members of the LIttlebourne Parish church choir. We rehearsed for two hours in the afternoon then sang evensong. As well as three hymns we sang a Kylie by Palastrina, a Jubilate by Stanford, Psalm 122, the anthem "Though I speak with  Tongues of men" by Bairstow. It was a fantastic experience to sing in this huge choir in Canterbury Cathedral.
