There are many ways of getting around in Rome - public bus, tour bus, Metro, tram, taxi and of course on foot. Google can tell you which mode, how long it will take, frequency of transport etc. The host of the Airbnb has prepared a very useful guide to the neighborhood, eating places, grocery store and how to get to main attractions.
From previous experience as an Independent Traveller (IT) it seems to take at least a day to figure out the best travel arrangements and local geography including places to eat out etc.
I found that the local Italians are somewhat unreliable in their advice. A group of students kept changing their minds as to whether to go in one direction or the opposite to get to the Metro and then the Vatican. Then I met a woman who said it was easier to take the No 19 Tram that went directly there although by a circuitous route. I ended up arriving ten minutes late for a tour. Luckily I could rebook for Friday. (An advantage of staying a few days in a city!)
Here is a picture of the Airbnb which is part of a row of small studio apartments in the University area of the city.
